I'm a Titanic survivor!

On Monday 12th May Mr Thoburn's class are learning about Titanic. Our task was to get into pairs and choose one interviewer and one survivor of the Titanic. Then think of questions and answers to write an interview script.

We role played as Titanic survivors.                                                                                                                                                                             The interviewer asked the survivor four questions and the survivor had to answer them with full emotion. Our class were asking some great questions .

We watched a video where Titanic survivors were getting interviewed.

This is the first draft of the interview

This is the neat copy of the interview script

Everyone worked hard and produced some brilliant scripts.

Science - adaptations

In science we are understanding what plants and animals have adopted to suit their habitats. Mrs Brickwood brought her pet tortoise Holly into school. She is 18! Holly has a hard shell and her head is streamlined. Her shell is also thick and strong.
Some great work

Holly:

She can crawl fast

walk at river side

On Monday 20th April 2014 I went on a walk at the river side for some fresh air, I had lots of fun! My Dad wanted me to jump off the wall into the (ice cold) water (that meaney!). On the walk I had a picnic with my Mam, Dad and my dog Patch. I raced my Mam, Dad and Patch up the hill, I also won! When I started walking to the car, I spotted a ferret in a bush (that was rusteling), I felt really, really, really guilty for leaving it.

gymnastics

I went to gymnastics in the Easter holidays and I did bar and beam. Bar is where you swing and do flips. Beam is where you do handstands and cartwheels and jumps but you have got to be careful because if you fall off you can really hurt yourself.

Easter Holidays

During the Easter Holidays I went to the pictures on Friday for my birthday with my friends to see Rio 2. It was funny when Chloe used the flashlight on her phone and shone a shadow on the screen. We also had a BBQ on Saturday and all my mam and dads friends over then after that Laura slept at mine.I had loads of sleepovers and it was really fun.
